Vice President - Population Health

Leanne is a vice president at HSRI and directs the organization’s Population Health team. Her work is driven by a passion for health equity and preventive health care. She’s particularly skilled at building the capacity of public agencies to generate practical insights from datasets to inform health quality improvement. With a deep knowledge of data across the health and human services sectors, she’s highly skilled at leading large, multi-organization teams through the process of strategically planning or overhauling data systems to produce reliable, trusted, timely information to serve a full range of research and quality improvement purposes. In addition to supporting clients’ all-payer claims database development and the design of reporting tools (including consumer-friendly tools), Leanne also has deep experience with vetting and remedying data quality issues and uncovering opportunities for system streamlining and efficiencies.

Prior to joining HSRI, Leanne worked as a research associate at OMNI Research and Training in Denver, where she was involved in a variety of prevention research and evaluation projects funded through SAMHSA and the Colorado Alcohol and Drug Abuse Division.

When not at work, Leanne is an avid runner and participates in numerous races each year, including marathons and half-marathons. She and her family also enjoy downhill skiing.

I love the ability to problem solve at a system level, using data to support changes that have a broader impact.
