Data Scientist
Kristin is a data scientist whose work is driven by a passion for using systematic approaches to evaluate program effectiveness in order to promote health equity. Kristin’s research expertise includes the development of data collection protocols and tools; managing and analyzing quantitative data from both primary and secondary sources, including complex health insurance claims data; conducting quality assurance activities; and synthesizing results and reporting to diverse audiences. She is skilled in SQL and statistical software including SPSS and SAS.
Prior to joining HSRI, Kristin worked at the Division of Preventive Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital as a programmer/analyst for randomized clinical trials funded by the National Institutes of Health. Kristin has also worked as a clinical research assistant at Massachusetts General Hospital’s Clinical and Research Program in Pediatric Psychopharmacology and Adult ADHD and as a residential counselor at North Suffolk Mental Health Association.
