All-Payer Claims Database
Transforming robust health data systems into actionable information
We develop, manage, and maintain robust All-Payer Claims Databases (APCDs) – large state-based data warehouses that collect and maintain medical, pharmacy, and dental claims, along with eligibility and provider files from private and public payers.
In our non-proprietary, state-of-the-art technology solution, data is collected from payer data submissions; flows through the ingestion process into the data warehouse where data quality validation, aggregation, business and data processing are applied; finally into production where the data is available for extracts, analysis, and reporting.
APCD data can be integrated with other data sources to:
- Enhance the ability to understand health system’s performance, monitor disease prevalence and prevention, and perform outcomes analyses.
- Provide important contextual information about larger population groups, environmental factors, housing characteristics, and other statistics.
- Support the use of benchmarks and comparison statistics in analyses.
- Allow the exploration of more complex health policy questions.
- Explore social determinants of health, to promote health equity, reduce health disparities, and improve healthcare access.
