Sara Galantowicz is a senior policy associate with nearly 30 years’ health policy and disability research and evaluation experience, with an emphasis on measuring and improving health care quality. Sara is also highly skilled in qualitative data gathering and analysis, including key informant interviews and focus group facilitation, as well as working with technical expert panels.

Prior to joining HSRI, Sara was a client solution architect at Abt Associates, where her work addressed quality measurement and improvement. Prior to that, Sara worked as a research manager on projects related to survey development, technical assistance, and Medicaid-funded long-term services and supports.

When not at work, Sara enjoys biking and is an avid reader.

One of the most meaningful parts of my job is hearing directly from people with lived experience in the programs and systems we are assessing – they are the real subject matter experts and teach me something new each time.
