Dani is a research analyst whose work is driven by a passion for collaborative and inclusive data-driven practices. She is highly skilled in data management, data analytics, and dashboard development. Dani also enjoys collaborating with stakeholders to develop informative and useful dissemination products.
Prior to joining HSRI, Dani was an epidemiologist at the Ohio Department of Health, where her work focused on overdose injury. Prior to that, Dani worked as a social work intern for nonprofits with the goal of improving the psychosocial environment for people in recovery from substance use disorder.
In her free time, Dani enjoys spending time with her husband and mini zoo (3 cats and 2 dogs), hiking, and true crime podcasts.
As a data driven and equity focused organization, I enjoy having opportunities to collaborate across teams and with key stakeholders to help guide and inform policy and practice for the betterment of communities.
