Health Care Data Analyst

Jaime is a health care data analyst with a passion for exploring large datasets and discovering the information hidden within. Jaime is particularly skilled at the technical side of developing actionable and meaningful insights through evaluation of big data. Jaime has expertise in hospital data, epidemiology, biostatistics, and environmental health, as well as programming experience in SQL, R programming, Tableau, ArcGIS, and STATA. At HSRI, Jaime has supported internal quality control efforts and dashboard redesign. 

Prior to joining the organization, Jaime was earning a degree in environmental epidemiology from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where she worked on COVID-19 plasma clinical trials and completed a thesis investigating the relationship between air pollution exposure and COVID-19 hospitalization. Jaime has also served as a research assistant in clinical laboratories at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, obtaining, cleaning, and interpreting laboratory and electronic health record data for use in a variety of scientific research projects ranging from opioid use monitoring to emergency department visits.

When not at work, Jaime enjoys pottery, painting, biking, and swimming. She is also conversational in Spanish.

  • Bachelor of Arts in cellular neuroscience and English literature from Colgate University
