Sarah is a data quality analyst who enjoys collecting and analyzing data to be used in making decisions and figuring out health trends. Sarah is dedicated to using her expertise in health care data to help measure the impact of health care services and to improve people’s quality of life. Sarah has broad experience in health care claims, including analyzing reimbursement rates and solving discrepancies, developing and implementing methods for improving reports and process efficiency, and performing data quality checks relating to CPT/ICD-10 codes and prior authorization submission. Sarah has been using SQL to identify trends and challenges in operational, utilization, and financial data since her start in health care in 2015.
Prior to joining HSRI, Sarah was a business analyst at Intermountain Healthcare, where she maintained and updated financial Tableau dashboards and improved service utilization reporting. Prior to that, Sarah worked as a business analyst at Optum360/UnitedHealth Group with a focus on improving reports and process efficiency to increase revenue.
When not at work, Sarah enjoys traveling, budgeting, and discovering new restaurants in Las Vegas.
