ProtectOHIO Waiver Evaluation Brief: Kinship Supports Strategy

This evaluation brief provides an introduction to the ProtectOHIO IV-E Waiver evaluation effort and an overview of interesting quantitative and qualitative findings with regard to the Kinship Supports strategy. Six ProtectOHIO demonstration counties participated in this strategy, intending to increase their use of kinship settings for children who could not remain in their birth homes and to support those kinship placements via a variety of efforts including specialized staffing and access to purchased supports.
